23 photos show just how uninhibited the hippies were
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/23-photos-show-just-how-uninhibited-the-hippies-were.htmlThe hippie movement began in 1965 in the USA. The word “hippie” itself comes from the colloquial hip, which means “knowing, understanding.” The subculture flourished in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Crowds of young people with long hair did their best to promote love for all living things and for each other, opposed the war and had a blast at music festivals like no other (Woodstock alone is worth it).
Although the movement has long since declined, representatives of this subculture can still be found all over the world. By the way, some of the ideas that hippies promoted were not taken seriously by the conservative society of the 1970s and were considered utopian. However, they are the ones who have firmly entered the mentality of modern man.
