These potatoes may contain poison that can lead to gastrointestinal problems such as vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhea.

We know that raw cashew nuts can be found in the store, but they are not actually raw. They are steamed to remove a chemical called urushiol, which can also be found in poison ivy.

There are 2 types of almonds: sweet and bitter. Bitter almonds are said to contain relatively high amounts of hydrogen cyanide, and eating just 5-10 raw bitter nuts can cause problems in adults and be fatal in children.

Brazil nuts are known as a rich source of selenium. Selenium is vital to our health, but too much of it can be toxic. For adults, 50-70 micrograms of selenium are recommended daily, and one brazil nut can contain 60 to 95 micrograms of selenium.
