When you really want to go to Montenegro

Categories: Europe | Nature | Travel |

Montenegro can easily be called a miniature planet Earth – this small country in the south of the Balkan Peninsula is so diverse in the beauty of its nature.

It has it all: snow-capped mountain peaks, the azure Adriatic Sea, mountain lakes, noisy waterfalls, untouched forests, canyons of fast rivers. This country is for those who are tired of the hustle and bustle of big cities, no one is in a hurry here - coastal towns doze in the shadow of the mountains, cats lazily sprawl on the piers waiting for a fresh catch, fishing boats sway on the transparent waves of the Adriatic.

Montenegro is a real cat country! They love cats here and there is no such thing as a "homeless animal": if a cat is on the street, it means it is common and all the residents take care of it. © Sarah Vickers
