What would Disney princesses look like if they were black
It's hard to find a little girl who would never want to be a Disney princess. Or even some kind of princess. Unfortunately, our media is not very inclusive, and most of the famous princesses in children's films and books have a very rigid image, which not all children can fit.
But as our society becomes more and more progressive, the mass media and, of course, art are developing. Hairdresser Lachanda Gatson decided to rethink the images of traditional princesses by creating an amazing and very bright photo shoot that shows how the world-famous princesses would look if they were black.Rapunzel
Photographers Regis and Kahran, a duo from CreativeSoul Photography, have released a series of 14 photographs depicting elegant, colorful and bold princesses with "their own style, culture and wealth." Here's what they said about their project.
