Keukenhof is considered the most beautiful tulip garden in the world. Right now it is in bloom, and for the first time in 71 years, there is not a soul around — the garden is closed to visitors. But the administration of the famous park has launched a virtual tour: it collects thousands of views. In general, we try to find advantages in this whole situation.
The Dutch love flowers — first of all, of course, tulips. Every spring, a sea of tulips and daffodils blooms in the world-famous royal Keukenhof Flower Park, and millions of tourists come here every spring. But not now. For the first time in the last seven decades, the Keukenhof is empty. But we can see its beauty in the photos. The gardeners did their best! And there's not a soul around.
The famous Keukenhof windmill
Usually, the annual tulip exhibition, which has been held since 1857, attracts thousands of visitors who want to see the real miracle of spring flowering. Keukenhof is the world's largest bulbous flower garden and boasts more than 800 species of tulips.
A rare variety of tulips
This year, seven million bulbs of these flowers were planted for the show. You can admire them on the official Youtube channel of the park Visit Keukenhof. The 360-degree virtual tour has already been visited more than 70 thousand times, judging by the viewing statistics.
