These women were arrested for various crimes, from shoplifting to move contraband. But if any of them is a serial killer? We don't know, but we can only try to guess who of them were convicted of similar crimes.
And although the society since the beginning of the twentieth century had serious change, and the quality of law enforcement has increased significantly, for many, the whole atmosphere of ease and of impunity still extremely attractive. Despite severe penalties, such a dangerous way of life in our days pushing risk-takers on offense.
