The American artist showed that the birth of children does not mean the end of life
In a recent interview with the German newspaper Tagesspiegel, Yugoslav artist and performance artist Marina Abramovich suggested that if she had children, it would destroy her talent. "I had three abortions because I was sure that the child would have a disastrous effect on my work," the artist said. "One person has a limited supply of energy, and I would have to divide it into two." According to her, having children is the main reason that women are less likely to reach heights in art than men.
Brooklyn-based artist Hain Koch decided to respond to Marina Abramovich's statement. She posted a photo on Facebook of herself breastfeeding her children and working at the same time. "I managed to work somehow, even when the twins were only 5 weeks old. I had a terrible lack of sleep. I breastfed for 45 minutes every 2-3 hours."

But if a woman has a child, everyone immediately thinks that this is a huge sacrifice. Nowadays, the family model is changing — mothers do not have to stay at home all their lives. A careful distribution of responsibilities and a support system (support is the main thing in this case) — and women can have children and a successful career."

Taking care of children is a joy and a privilege, which, unfortunately, many mothers and artists are deprived of."

People should leave their moms alone and go about their business. This is especially true of other mothers who are so quick to punish. Regardless of the decision that a person has made, women should always support each other by setting an example, and not attack in the first rows."
