Photographer Nicolo Degiorgis is looking for garages, warehouses and gyms in Italy that Muslims are forced to adapt for worship.
In Italy, there are eight mosques for every 1.45 million Muslims. In the wealthy, migrant-attracting northeastern regions, anti-Islamic sentiment is so strong that it is virtually impossible to get permission to build a mosque there - people have to equip houses of worship in the most unsuitable places.
