Guido Argentini was born in Florence. He studied medicine at the university for several years, but at the age of 23 he decided to devote himself entirely to photography.
Since 1990, the photographer has been living in the United States. Argentini's photos are regularly published in popular publications: Marie Claire, Men's Health, Playboy, Vogue. According to him, the photographer's work was influenced by the sculptures of Konstantin Brancusi, made of polished bronze.
The bodies of all the models are covered with a special paint, which makes it seem as if the photographer was shooting not living people, but flawless sculptures made of precious metal. Guido used the paint to emphasize the shapes of the models ' bodies.
