Moms with children who are one day old
London-based photographer Jenny Lewis' One Day Trips is a collection of beautiful photographs of mothers and their one-day-old babies. These pictures were taken in the comfort of their own home and can officially be considered the first portraits of these babies in a family photo album.
Looking at how these women hold their newborn babies and babies, one cannot help but feel the warmth and love from which the heart rejoices. “These are the most natural portraits I have ever taken,” says Lewis. “Women remain themselves, they have nothing to prove, because they can already be proud of themselves.”

6. “I was sitting in the Susan Bright Photo Gallery one late summer, and the girl next to me saw my card and said: “Are you the author of the One-Day-Things project?” I just found out about him on a website." And I had no idea that my project was advertised so widely.
7. “Actually, Susan Bright is a curator I admire, and a friend told her about my project by sharing a link to my Facebook page. It's incredible how a story can take on a life of its own on the internet."
