In the USA, a girl was not taken to a slimming camp because she is... too fat
In the USA, camps for losing weight are very popular - events organized by fitness trainers for a small group of people who want to get rid of excess weight. Lisa Parratt became one of such applicants, but the girl never managed to fulfill her dream, because she was refused participation because of ... her completeness.
Lisa shared her story on her social network page, and you can read it in our material.
Lisa Paratt has been suffering from excess weight for many years, but neither various diets nor independent training did not bring her the desired result. The girl even signed up for a gym, where she tried to go at least once a week. Only this did not help in any way.
Gary Randall
The girl was very happy and asked a friend to add her to the group chat. At first everything went just fine: Randall wrote to the participants, discussed organizational issues and was very polite. But suddenly Lisa received a message that shocked her so much that the girl lost consciousness.
"May I ask why that is?" I know you're helping people lose weight... that's what I'm doing. I have no problems with blood pressure, and I have a doctor's certificate that I am healthy.
- Yes, I'm helping, but you went too far, I'm sorry. Focus on the gym for at least 6 months, then we'll see where you'll be.
- May I know the reason?
"Yeah, you're too fat for my camp, that's all. If you lose 30 kilograms, I will help you achieve your goals.
These answers upset Lisa even more, and she decided to share her story on Facebook.
When the incident was found out on the Internet, Gary Randall was massively shamed. Lisa also received more than 500 messages of support, as well as several dozen offers of free workouts from various fitness halls.
Lisa also added that now, no matter what, she will achieve her goal and lose weight in order to prove Randall that he was wrong.
And what do you think, did a fitness trainer have the right to answer a girl like that? Whose side are you on in this dispute?
