Source: Daily MailIn recent years, street food burgers have become fashionable delicacies that expensive restaurants specialize in. For burger fans who love luxury and can afford it, the Dutch chef has created a dish consisting of the most expensive ingredients.
The creator of this burger is the Dutch chef Diego Buik. He is such a fan of burgers that colleagues joke: if a Buick gets hurt, then ketchup will flow out of the wound, not blood.
The cutlet in this precious burger consists of two types of meat: firstly, it is the most expensive meat in the world - Japanese wagyu dry—ripened beef, and secondly, marbled beef black Angus (Black Angus). The lobsters are soaked in Hermit Dutch coastal gin, and to all this the chef added homemade Remeker cheese, Japanese cherry tomatoes and ham ham iberico.
For the sauce, lobsters and gourmet ingredients such as Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, Madagascar vanilla, saffron and Japanese soy were needed. The burger bun alone costs 120 pounds (8800 rubles), and is also covered with 24-carat gold foil.
Buik works as a chef at the South of Houston restaurant in The Hague. He created this dish specifically in order to get into the Guinness Book of Records. At his previous workplace, he cooked and sold 15 thousand burgers in just six months and, to celebrate this event, created 100 series of special burgers with a limited "edition".
This time Buik decided to arrange a really loud culinary event and coincide it with May 28 - International Hamburger Day. The ingredients alone for his new dish cost almost 1,000 pounds (73.7 thousand rubles), and the final price is twice as high.
There is no luxury burger on the menu of the restaurant, but the chef says that he is ready to cook it for guests who will be able to pay for it and will warn about the order in advance: The Buik will need a lot of time to prepare.
To prepare the sauce, you will have to spend 90 pounds (6635 rubles), foie gras costs the same, and minced meat for a cutlet will cost 645 pounds (47.5 thousand rubles) per kilogram.
Buik says that excellent ingredients do not necessarily make a delicious dish, but in his case everything goes well. And yet he claims that he tried the most delicious burger in his life in the UK, in the Byron Burger restaurant chain, and it cost 14 pounds (1000 rubles). The chef told Munchies Netherlands that he himself would never have spent such money on a burger.

When I took the last bite, I wished I had chewed slower. And yet it's crazy that such an amount of money can be eaten in 10 minutes. When I think like that, I think it would be better to eat 1124 hamburgers from McDonald's. They would have been enough for me for a much longer period."
