How do people imagine the future 100 years ago
One sometimes imagines how it will look in the life of mankind over many years. Many of us have been waiting 21, 2015 to see how the predictions from Back to the future proved accurate. Unfortunately, we still don't have flying cars and skateboards. But have you ever wondered how past generations have imagined our time?
A series of illustrations called "France in the year 2000" was created by Jean-Marc côté and other French artists between 1899 and 1910, Each illustration features presentations by artists about how life would look like in 2000. It may seem incredible, but the first series of images was printed as a decoration for cigarette packs, which were sold at the world fair in 1900.
