Global Climate Change in NASA Photos: Before and After
The increase in average temperatures and ocean levels around the world is known as global warming, although it would be more correct to talk about global climate change. These impressive images from the US National Aerospace Agency (NASA) show how much the landscape has changed in some regions of the planet in just a few years.
Columbia Glacier in Alaska (USA) in 1986 and 2014.
The Aral Sea in Central Asia in 2000 and 2014. Drought is another factor of global climate change.
Lake Powell in Arizona and Utah (USA) in 1999 and 2014.
A landslide in Washington State (USA). These pictures were taken just two months apart. On the left — January 2014, on the right — March.
