With all the civilization and high level of development of the modern world, there are still people on earth who are far from generally accepted realities.
They believe in spirits and various other inanimate beings that can have both positive and negative effects on their lives. In this regard, they often adhere to extremely strange traditions, with the help of which they allegedly provide themselves with a secure existence.

1. Polynesia is not even a separate country. In fact, this territory is a geographical entity, the population of which does not exceed the number of people living in a small provincial Russian city.
In such a narrow circle, people adhere to their usual concepts, without even thinking about the fact that somewhere there is a full-fledged world where such traditions and customs would not find a place. As in many countries of the world, the most specific rules of conduct related to marriage - an important and sacred ceremony for absolutely all peoples without exception.
2. In Polynesia, the bride has a special status. It is considered not only "impure", but also thoroughly saturated with various negative higher forces.
Since a girl marries “clean”, which is a prerequisite for the inhabitants of the subject, then in the process of marriage she must get rid of what “fills” her. After the end of a large-scale celebration, when all the guests had enough fun and rested, the girl enters into a relationship with all of them.
3. An exception is not made even for old people. It is believed that the more men who visit her chambers before the wedding, the cleaner she will be in front of the groom.
In Polynesia, they believe that it is the untouched girl who is the real danger to her husband since her inner "demons" can "come out" at any moment. After several adopted men, this is exactly what happens, and thus, by the time she enters into a relationship with the groom himself, the girl is already quite clean.
4. Such a process of "cleansing from demons and evil spirits" does not take place for the bride and men in solitude. There are also women who cheer up the bride, singing loud songs and dancing around the bed, on which the bride “receives” all the guests of the ceremony in turn.
After the "reception" of the last guest, the girl moves away from prying eyes with her newly-made spouse in order to finally retire and enjoy each other's company without strangers.
5. From this moment on, relatives and close people do not interfere in their lives, since they have already done the most important thing - they are convinced that “all demons” are expelled, and living together with such a woman is absolutely not in danger for a man.
