Chinese Kids Go to School wearing Funny Hats for Social Distancing
China is ready to declare victory over the coronavirus and is gradually lifting the restrictions imposed due to quarantine. Schools have already opened and children attend classes as before. Everything seems to be as usual, but not quite - the epidemic has left its mark on the education system. Now children sit in class wearing masks, monitor social distance and constantly disinfect their hands. We went the furthest at the Yangzhen School in Hangzhou, where elementary school students were dressed up in strange hats.
The Yangzhen School, like any other school in the country, takes sanitary and hygienic measures, but in addition, the school management has taken the initiative concerning students from 1st to 3rd grade. The parents of the kids were required to make two-meter hats, without which children are simply not allowed to attend lessons.
The headdresses of schoolchildren are equipped with sticks protruding a meter to the right and left of the head. This is done so that children unwittingly observe at least a meter distance in the classroom and when communicating with classmates. It is forbidden to take off huge hats during the educational process and at recess, and in addition they can not be touched with your hands.
Now elementary school students, who are particularly restless and low consciousness, are forced to keep their distance from each other. The idea of "meter hats" belongs to the director of the school Hong. He is very pleased with himself and personally makes sure that the new form of clothing is observed by everyone without exception.
The photos from the Chinese school that appeared on the web clearly show that all the hats are different. Parents themselves made them from what is at hand, actively connecting imagination to the creative process. Someone just attached thick paper tubes to the cap, and someone put a box with protrusions on the head of the offspring. The harshest parents attached wooden sticks and pipes to the hats, so you will not envy the owner of such a structure.
The photos from the Yangzhen school clearly show that not all structures are equally effective, as well as the fact that most of these caps will have to be repaired daily. But parents and children have no choice, because without a strange structure on their head, the child simply will not be allowed into the school grounds.
Chinese children in hats with sticks look strange, but their antiviral outfit does not even get into the top ten of the most ridiculous quarantine ideas.
