"Actresses tease producers themselves": Brigitte Bardot spoke about harassment
French actress Brigitte Bardot has accused Hollywood actresses who complain of harassment of hypocrisy. The 83-year-old star said that "actresses are not really women," and their statements about harassment in the vast majority of cases are "ridiculous, hypocritical and uninteresting" and distract society from really important problems.
In an interview with Paris Match, the sex symbol of the 1950s admitted that she had never been a victim of sexual harassment. "I was told that I was beautiful or that I had a nice little ass, but I took it as a nice compliment," Bardot said.

According to Bardot, women themselves come to producers and directors to get a role, and sometimes they are ready for anything, including seducing them. They allegedly tease men, after which they claim harassment in order to attract public attention: "And this does not help them, but only harms them."
Brigitte Bardot starred in more than 40 films, but left cinema in 1973 to defend animal rights. Now she lives with nine dogs and six cats, and on the farm she keeps about 50 more animals (pigs, goats, sheep, turtles, geese and ducks, as well as a donkey and a pony).
In January, actress Catherine Deneuve and 99 other famous French women came out in defense of men who were "hunted" because of flirting. The women's letter stated that "attempts to seduce someone, even persistent and clumsy," cannot be considered a crime, and harassment may not become a reason for trauma for life. Deneuve later apologized to the victims of sexual abuse.
Recently, Sharon Stone also spoke about harassment. When asked if she got into this kind of uncomfortable situations with colleagues, the 59-year-old actress burst out laughing and then said: "I've been in this business for almost 40 years.
