Popular model and TV presenter Caroline Bittencourt has been found dead off the coast of the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo. It is known that the girl drowned trying to save her two puppies.

37-year-old Caroline Bittencourt is known for her work on television, participation in Brazilian carnivals and shooting for fashion magazines. The body of the beauty was found on April 29 on the beach of Cigarras, 14 miles from the place of her disappearance.

Caroline's husband Jorge Sestini told about what happened on that ill-fated day. According to the man, they were sailing together when a storm suddenly started. Two puppies of the model who were on board were blown into the water by a strong wind. Caroline rushed to save her pets, but found herself in captivity of the sea element.

Jorge Sestini jumped after his wife, but he never managed to save her. The man searched for her under water for a long time and as a result lost sight of the yacht. To escape, George had to swim to the shore for about three hours. Rescuers found him in a state of shock and took him to the hospital.

Bittencourt has a 17-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. They signed with Jorge Sestini only in January of this year.
