A fifty-year-old fitness fan has revealed the secret of a young body and a steel press. Jennifer King is a farmer from North Carolina who performs incredible tricks for a woman: she turns over huge tires and exercises with a sledgehammer. A slender American woman on the Internet is known by the nickname Farm Girl Jen ("Jen, the girl from the farm"), and more than 350 thousand people have subscribed to her YouTube channel called Banshee Moon. This helps her earn more than 100 thousand dollars a year.

"So far, being fifty is just fine. In my middle-aged crisis, I bought myself a powerful car with a six-speed manual transmission, which I always wanted. Not to dig into your wrinkles, but to be older, wiser and succeed is to my taste," says Jennifer.
"I'm stronger and slimmer than ever, and I'm sure it's mostly thanks to the heavy weight training program. Aging and death are natural stages of life, but I like to think that I do it on my own terms as much as possible, and with all the grace and dignity that I am capable of."
Although Jennifer has always liked fitness, it was only eight years ago that she started doing weightlifting. "I started training at a young age, doing aerobics and running. I did a little weightlifting when I was in my twenties, but I didn't take it seriously. It was only about eight years ago that I joined crossfit, where a lot of attention was paid to Olympic weightlifting. And then, about four years ago, I added a power program to my regime," says the farmer.
Now Jennifer maintains health and vigor by taking 10,000 steps a day and alternating crossfit and strength training. A pretty farmer is engaged with heavy weights at a high pace, and also exercises on the street with sledgehammers, tires and her own weight, squatting, pulling up and pumping the press. If she doesn't have time to go to the gym, she conducts high-intensity interval training (HIIT) with dumbbells. "As for the diet, I like a variety of fish and vegetables. I avoid highly processed foods, especially those that contain refined sugar," says Jennifer.
"Proper nutrition and training are the basis of a good life: not only health, but also happiness. It seems to me that a healthy lifestyle can cure a variety of physical and mental ailments," Jennifer believes. The woman has been posting videos about her workouts and lifestyle with her husband Jason since 2012. "I could never have imagined that I would become a social media star at such an age. In general, I am an open person, but I consider myself shy in front of large crowds. Therefore, sometimes when I need to entertain, I find myself a little outside of my comfort zone," the farmer admits.
"It's funny that it all started with the fact that my husband shot several videos of what I'm doing, just for fun. I'm just shocked by how it all exploded. It amazes us that when we travel, people come up to us and say that they watch us all the time. It's a little strange when those you see for the first time seem to know you personally."
"I really like it when people tell me that I inspire them to choose the best and make health the number one priority in life," adds Jennifer.
