8 places tourists no longer want to visit
Unfortunately, some popular tourist spots don't always look the way they look in the brochures. And sometimes your expectations can completely spoil the impression of your trip.
To prevent this from happening, we have compiled a list of 8 places that often disappoint tourists.

1. Statue of Juliet in Verona, Italy.
According to legend, touching Juliet's hand or right breast will bring you good luck in your search for true love. Every square meter around the statue is almost always filled with tourists who can really spoil your impression of this supposedly romantic place. The statue's chest and wrist are regularly damaged by all the touching of thousands of love-seeking tourists.
2. The Little Mermaid in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Earlier, the Little Mermaid from the tale of Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen was right on a cliff in Copenhagen harbor. It is not so easy to see this statue these days. In 2007, Copenhagen officials decided to move the statue several meters into the harbor to prevent vandalism and prevent tourists from climbing on it.
3. The Beatles Storey in Liverpool, England.
True fans of the legendary band will most likely be very disappointed with this exhibition, as they will not find anything new about their favorite musicians here.
4. Berlin TV Tower, Germany.
Dirty windows, crowds of tourists, and the overpriced TV bar is a huge disappointment for every tourist.
5. Picasso Museum in Antibes, France.
The collection on display consists mainly of sketches by the artist and ceramic plates.
6. Beaches in Indonesia, India, and Thailand.
Dirty streets (mainly due to the use of pack animals by residents), as well as dirty seas and beaches, are common. The most alarming thing is that not only tourists but also the locals themselves, pollute the seashores.
7. Times Square in New York, USA.
A good stroll through Times Square (which isn't as long as you might think) can be ruined by the sheer number of people who want to visit the place. Because of this, it quickly becomes dirty and no longer looks attractive. Even giant flashing billboards mesmerizing people passing by cannot save the day.
8. Brussels, Belgium.
Many people are shocked by the amount of garbage and urinals they find on the streets. These street urinals can also be seen in Amsterdam, where they are much more compatible with the urban environment than in Brussels.
