In July 1957, a close friend of Marilyn Monroe, photographer Sam Shaw, arranged a photo shoot for the actress on the beach in Amagansett, New York. At that moment, the blonde sex symbol was in the second month of pregnancy, for the shooting she chose a snow-white one-piece swimsuit. In the photos, Marilyn is really happy. Unfortunately, her dream of motherhood never came true: a month after the photo shoot, she had a miscarriage.
