On January 27, 1832, Charles Dodgson was born in the rectory in the village of Darsbury, Cheshire — today we know him as the truly great English writer Lewis Carroll. However, Carroll went down in history not only as the author of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, but also as a wonderful portrait photographer.
