Incredible footage of an Amazonian tribe that has never been in contact with civilization

These photos depict a tribe lost in the jungle that lives on a remote piece of land in the northern part of Brazil. The people of the Moxihatetim tribe have never been in contact with the rest of the world.

These shots, which show members of the tribe inside a common building, also known as a maloka, were taken from an airplane.

If you zoom in, you can see a man aggressively shaking a spear towards the camera. Other members of the tribe just look up, raising their heads.

Moxihatetima is one of the three Yanomamo Indian groups in this area. She is being monitored remotely for fear of attacks by illegal gold miners who regularly encroach on the territory of the Indians. In 1993, 16 Yanamamo were killed by gold miners, in response to which the Indians killed two people. In addition to violence, people bring diseases to which yanamamo has no immunity.

The fate of this tribe caused concern because they had not been seen for more than a year. However, these photos show that moxychatetima are alive and well. Moreover, the tribe has become more like two families.
