Garden in a bomb shelter

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/garden-in-a-bomb-shelter.htmlThis farm in abandoned bomb shelters under the streets of London is the brainchild of Richard Ballard and Stephen Dring, where they grow greens, vegetables and lettuce. It was in these bomb shelters that Londoners hid during shelling during the Second World War.
Today, about 10,000 square meters of food is grown in the corridors of the bomb shelter for London restaurants and supermarkets. A hydroponic system is used, and the sun is replaced by eco-friendly LED lamps. The farm is located about 12 stories below ground, so the temperature there is 16 degrees Celsius.
