Ricky Naputi from Guam did not leave the house for seven years, having grown up to 400 kg. Too much weight caused the death of a man at the age of 39. His wife called him an "overgrown baby", he was so helpless. Ricky suffered from not only physically: he was constantly depressed due to the fact that he could not do anything on his own. Ricky found himself in captivity of his own body, gaining 400 kg. For the last seven years of his life, he lost the ability to move and was constantly locked up. The fat man died in 2012, when he turned 39 years old. The cause of death was obesity.

A resident of the island of Guam began to actively gain weight in adolescence. In the middle classes, he weighed 90 kg. During his school years, the guy suffered from the ridicule of bullies. At the age of 20, Ricky developed depression.

The American got a job in a nightclub as a bouncer. After that, drugs appeared in his life, and by the age of thirty he weighed 220 kg.

In 2004, Ricky met the love of his life — Cheryl. At that time, his weight exceeded 300 kg. Nevertheless, the girl agreed to marry him. However, the newlyweds did not even manage to enter into a marital relationship because of the huge size of the fat man.

The couple wanted to conceive a child, but Ricky continued to gain weight, and this dream became impossible. It got to the point that the American could no longer get out of bed. Since then, he has stopped leaving the house.

Cheryl was forced to turn into a nurse for her own husband. She says she took care of him like a child - dressed, cooked and bathed. Ricky developed such an addiction to food that he consumed up to 10,000 calories a day. With such a diet, premature death was inevitable.

Doctors from Guam, America and Australia tried to help the fat man, but he could not lose enough weight for surgery. He needed to lose at least 40 kg in order to reduce the volume of the stomach by 80%. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for Ricky.

On November 10, 2012, Cheryl called an ambulance after noticing that Ricky had stopped breathing. Doctors tried to bring him back to life for an hour and a half, but they failed. The man was 39 years old. His wife did not want to attend his funeral and preferred to grieve at home.

Meanwhile, the world's fattest boy has lost weight beyond recognition. Now he monitors his diet, regularly exercises and weighs 80 kg.
