Scottish actor Robbie Coltrane, best known for his role as Hagrid in the Harry Potter films, has died. He was 72 years old.

The famous actor's heart stopped today in a hospital near his home in Larbert, Scotland. The actor's agent Belinda Wright confirmed the tragic news.
