"A couple more": That's what she is, the first love

At the request of Esquire magazine, photographer Alexander Gronsky took portraits of young people who are in love for the first time.

1. Katya (17 years old), Anton (20 years old). Together for 8 months

KATYA: "I call him "Antosha" and "bunny". But I don't really like calling Anton a bunny myself. It's better to just affectionately — Antosha."

2. Rasima (16 years old), Savely (14 years old). Together for 10 months

SAVELY: "They thought of me as such a small 14-year-old bully who runs and jumps, wears brown jackets with breeches, drinks and sings to the guitar of Tsoi. Everything has changed tremendously."

3. Nika (20 years old), Lyosha (22 years old). Together 4.5 years

LYOSHA: "Yeah, so she came in a jacket, in felt boots."

4. Lyosha (17 years old), Vika (19 years old)

LYOSHA: "When you catch a glance at a concert, when you see how each note evokes an emotion on her face, when you feel this exchange of energy — it's nice."

5. Vika (18 years old), Dima (17 years old). Together for 2 years

Vika: "We really complemented each other, we got such a symbiosis. We really are so similar that, as a rule, all the words and actions of one of us are quite predictable for the other."

6. Sasha (16 years old), Dima (16 years old). Together for 3 months

SASHA: "We haven't had anything so conflicted yet, so it's hard for me to say that I wouldn't forgive."

7. Vlad (16 years old), Angelina (16 years old). Together for 1.5 years

ANGELINA: "We don't command each other. After all, I'm not his mother to forbid something."
