By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/artistic-portraits-of-animals-by-wolf-ademate.htmlIn his works, German photographer Wolf Ademeit tries to find similarities between animals and people by creating animalistic artistic portraits.
Ademate decided to improve a series of his photographs with animals, which he once took at the zoo. Then he shot black and white portraits of animals. This time, he decided to add colors, making the photos even more artistic. So Ademate expanded his collection with animal portraits, creating incredible detailed images, including more expressive faces, emphasizing subtle, physical details.
As in his previous works, in this series the photographer captures representatives of the animal world, including lions and elephants, baboons and vultures. Each fluffy, feathered, and winged creature in the Ademate's collection of images has its own personality. Even in a group shot of lemurs, the photographer captures the individuality of each subject with their own facial expressions and body language.
