Your burden does not pull

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/your-burden-does-not-pull.htmlFrench photographer Florian de Lasse travels the world photographing people holding heavy objects on their heads. She traveled to the most remote corners of the planet, from East Africa to South America, in search of models for her project "How Much Can You Take".
Florian began her journey in 2012 in Ethiopia and has already traveled to four continents. De Lasse, 37, has traveled to 14 countries and photographed 70 people.
The photographer asked people to keep on their heads what matters most to them. People posed with sacks of grains that would be sold to feed the family, bales of hay that would then be traded for a frying pan, and even empty bottles that could then be returned.
“I think the project will inspire many, because each of us carries our own burden,” says Florian.
