Young British naturists
Categories: Europe
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/young-british-naturists.htmlThe Young British Naturists (MBN) are a group of nudists living in the UK between the ages of 16 and 30. About a year ago, photographer Laura Pannack accidentally ran into representatives of this community. She was immediately seized with a desire to understand these young people who are ready to flaunt their essence. She wanted to know why they decided to go naked or be part of a group in which it was not only acceptable, but also necessary.
Attention! Under the cut — nude.

1. Nudity is always associated with sex. However, in the case of naturism, everything is completely different.
2. The human body becomes something completely natural, something that has been forgotten about, because nudity has become part of the daily life of naturists.
3. Some of these people openly talk about their tendency to nudism, others hide it even from friends, relatives and colleagues.
4. Someone grew up in a naturist family; others joined the group to boost self-esteem and make new friends.
5. The main common feature between them: all members of this community feel more confident naked than in clothes.
6. Appearing naked, the same as we enter this world, we do not hide behind a disguise and masks that we choose along with clothes.
7. It can give an exciting feeling of vulnerability, and it definitely represents a test of courage, a liberating, courageous act.
8. However, this vulnerability can also give us the opportunity to be accepted and create new relationships without judging others.
9. As one of the members of the MBN group explained: "The aspect of equality attracted me to naturism."
10. "I wonder how long people will be able to maintain their "rank" in society if they are stripped of their clothes."
11. "When everything else is the same, when we are naked, a rich person is no different from a poor one, and a fashionista is no different from someone who is unassuming in clothes."
12. "These classifications disappear, and the field of struggle is equalized. Among naturists, I feel on an equal footing with others — I am not better than them, and they are not better than me, we are just people."
13. "Taking off my clothes, I feel like the barrier between people disappears, and I can meet and communicate with people without being afraid that they will hide something from me."
14. In order to fully understand her "models" and gain their trust, photographer Laura Pennack took a bold step and joined their community by undressing.
15. "Having placed myself in this unusual environment, I felt that the connection with my subjects of photography became mutual and equal."
16. "I soon realized that naturism is not just about being naked, it is a philosophy of life with its own physical, psychological, external, social and moral advantages."
17. "Some even call naturism a religion."
