1. "Titanic" (1997).

It was disappointing to see how The Golden Compass changed the ending of the first book. Hollywood loves a happy ending, and the film shows Lyra and her friends taking a hot air balloon ride. The book is much darker as Asriel sacrifices Roger, which is a huge moment in history.

Cage plays an MIT professor who finds a code in a time capsule that predicts when future disasters will occur. He tries but cannot prevent a worldwide solar flare catastrophe. Everything on Earth has been destroyed, but not before aliens appear out of nowhere and take people away. Where did they come from?

7. "Passengers" (2016)

People are crying out on a 120-year journey to a new planet, but Chris Pratt wakes up. He then wakes up Jennifer Lawrence because she's a hot beauty. She's angry. He destroyed her future and made her a prisoner in a spaceship for the rest of her life. But they fall in love. Later, Pratt finds a lone capsule she can use and forgets all this mess. But she doesn't. She is awake with Chris and they enjoy the same sweet life together.
