World day of fight against AIDS

AIDS has already killed more than 25 million people between 1981 and 2007, and the estimated 33.2 million people worldwide live with HIV infection. And yet today, there is hope to talk about the end of the epidemic. Now 6.6 million people are living on medications that slow the spread of AIDS, but too many people still suffering. Studies have shown that early detection and treatment can reduce the occurrence of new cases by 60%. This is the turning point that many were trying to achieve.
