These touching photos reflect the love and affection between the homeless and their animals. The author of the project is Nora Levine, a 34-year-old photographer from Austin, Texas. She photographs animals and works closely with nurseries. As part of this project, Nora worked with the 4PAWS program, which stands for "For the Homeless People and Animals" - they provide free vaccinations and veterinary care for the pets of homeless Texas residents.

“When we met with the homeless, we told them about the program and also gave them food for the animals,” says Nora. The photographer wanted to capture the connection between a person and their pet, to show that this connection is universal - it is not based in any way on finances or having a home.

The author says that the vast majority of the animals she photographs in the project are treated with love and respect. “I would have abandoned the project if I saw something different,” says Nora.

“In the course of working on the project, I realized that the world is not only black or white. Each person has their own unique situation, which you need to delve into before judging, ”Levine shares his experience.
