Fortunately, someone came up with a solution. Graphic designer Justine Bate from Manchester made face masks with plastic inserts at mouth level to help herself and her 10-year-old daughter Theone. Both mother and daughter are deaf. When people found out about this project, such masks quickly became popular.
42-year-old Justine Bate from Manchester is deaf, as is her 10-year-old daughter Theona. Talking, they read each other's words on the lips. But with the introduction of mandatory wearing of masks, this became impossible. And then Justine came up with a special mask to talk to her daughter anywhere without interference.

Justin's 50-year—old husband, Carl, who is also her guardian, also wears such a mask.

On May 27, Justine sold 42 masks at a price of 5.99 pounds sterling apiece, which is about 500 rubles (including packaging and postage).
