Communication is a convenient and necessary thing, it's a pity that famous historical reformers did not have the opportunity to call, text and report their plans in general chats on Facebook.

One could easily assume that every more or less well-known figure would have a very well-known "apple" phone, but no. Reforms are a costly thing, and those who lead the crowd should be as close to this crowd as possible. This means that they would have extremely low-cost smartphones. And of course, reliable. In revolutions, there is nowhere without reliability.

Jean-Paul Marat

Reform activity cannot exist without journalism and journalism. One of the first revolutionaries who realized this was the French publicist, journalist and politician Jean-Paul Marat. Having been educated as a doctor, Marat, who was then living in England, became involved in literature and politics and quickly realized that it was easy to influence minds through newspapers and achieve fame (which Jean-Paul had dreamed of since childhood). In France, a former doctor began publishing his own newspaper with the telling title "Friend of the People". The publication quickly gained popularity, and in 1791 it was with his help that Marat urged the people to continue the revolution. With the help of the newspaper, Jean-Paul Marat managed to insist on the execution of the king. Even being seriously ill, lying in bed on the eve of his death, the publicist continued to publish a newspaper, publishing essays in which he criticized the soft methods used against the enemies of the revolution. You can bet that if Marat had a smartphone with a high-quality camera and a powerful processor, his publications would have had a much more explosive effect.

Maximilian Robespierre

The Great French Revolution became one of the brightest and, unfortunately, one of the bloodiest in world history. It can be said that Robespierre continued the work of his predecessor Jean-Paul Marat. And if the latter was only preparing the country for mass terror, then Maximilian was already fixing it everywhere. Throughout his revolutionary career, the views of the lawyer changed dramatically, and when Robespierre was accused of tyranny, he finally turned from a supporter of the people into his opponent. At the age of 27, being a provincial lawyer, Maximilian passionately campaigned for the abolition of the death penalty, but after 8 years he argued that the execution was the responsibility of the government. At the beginning of his career, he defended even the poor in court and did it absolutely free of charge, but after 1792 there were not enough places in Paris prisons, and all those accused of treason were deprived of the right to defend themselves. It seems that a changeable and cunning revolutionary would like a smartphone with interchangeable back panels. Against terror? I put on a white "backdrop". For the death penalty? Choose blood red.

Leon Trotsky

Leon Trotsky was born on the same day as Joseph Stalin, and later enmity with this man ruined the politician. Vladimir Ilyich considered Trotsky almost his successor, and the reformer himself essentially became the organizer of the coup in 1917. Trotsky managed to establish iron discipline in the army, attract tsarist generals and officers, personally inspired the fighters. The concept of revolution cannot be limited to politics alone. The famous doctor, revolutionary surgeon Nikolai Ivanovich Pirogov became interested in medicine as a child and spent his entire adult life only treating and saving people. The doctor constantly worked in the anatomical theater, cut soft tissues, examined organs, studied the skeleton and paid close attention to the damaged joints, trying to find a replacement for them. He was the first to apply anesthesia in field surgery and used plaster outside the hospital walls. He made a huge contribution to the study of pathogens. Thanks to him, Russian surgery has moved to one of the first places in the world. It seems to us that Nikolai Ivanovich would suit a device as thin as a scalpel blade with a good camera and fast Internet. Ernesto Che Guevara

One of the most ambitious revolutionaries is a figure that has become iconic in our time. If a person cannot name the merits of Ernesto Che Guevara, then he will easily remember that he saw his face a few minutes ago on the T-shirt of one of the passers-by. Unlike most politicians, Ernesto was not fond of humanities as a child, but devoted himself to sports and an active lifestyle — he played rugby, football, chess, drove rafts on the Amazon, rode a bicycle and a moped. From that moment on, it would be possible to define a sports smartphone model for Ernesto — a solid and reliable one, one that is difficult to "kill" on the shores of the Amazon. And his entire political career was characterized by an unwillingness to stay in one place and a desire to constantly move forward. After the victory of the revolution in Cuba in 1958, Che Guevara does not remain in a peaceful post for long, resigns his powers and goes to realize the dreams of a world revolution.
