By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/what-is-your-evidence-oh-this-russian-language-in-western-movies.htmlI wonder why such the huge budgets of Western films in many films allowed sometimes too comical error in the spelling of Russian words? Perhaps because the percentage of viewers who know Russian language, not critical? But still it does not negate the fact, how ridiculous it is for Russian-speaking person might look like one or the other inscription.
Suffice it to recall the classic gibberish "of Ash Fistsful" the Russian passport of Jason Bourne or the dreaded cloud of "Snasen" from the movie "independence Day". Of course, accustomed to use the Latin alphabet Westerners even read this you can't, not to mention to understand the meaning of the inscription. We have collected some more examples of how Western kinoprodukte not bother with the Russian language.
"The brain cost a billion dollars" (1967). Well, everything is clear, keep silence.
"The Bourne Supremacy" (2004). That's not the worst option.
Beautiful Russian name of Apriland.
Annual talent WOY.
"12 monkeys" (2015).
"Legends of tomorrow" (2016). The blatant marketing in the world: everything is clear and understandable.
"Chuck" (2008). Apartments, the bear, the cave — the everyday life of the Russian people.
"Chuck" (2008). To enter is strictly prohibited!
"Chuck" (2008). So who hates John Bush? Yakov Smirnoff?
"Mr. Bean" (1995). As you can see, in Russian, Moscow called NPULSE.
"Operation Luna" (1965). Clearly breathes the tale of the turnip.
"Operation Luna" (1965). In General, it is the everyday picture of an ordinary Russian town. "Hey, sweetie, want to go home, grab a couple of bears, yesterday I on the market that was sad caught".
"Blacklist" (2014). Well, that, too, after all, greenbacks.
"Get smart" (2008). Delicious, probably, syrup kind.
"Doctor Zhivago" (1965). I could not agree that this error and speak Russian person can easily prevent, so in this case it is forgivable.
Just use translit to Cyrillic — almost a win-win. Russia on the seabed, well, it's just postmodernism some.
