What do people on Earth dream about?

August 28 is not just a date on the calendar, it's Dream Day. Each of us dreams of something special, but what lies in the hearts of people around the world? Photographer Trey Ratcliffe went on an amazing journey to find out the answer. Opening the souls of strangers from different parts of the Earth, he tried to understand what kind of dreams we live and how it affects our lives.

Photographer Trey Ratcliff is famous for his amazing photographs of Japan and China. Today we present to you a selection of his photos “What they dream about and what they do”, revealing people and their plans. According to Trey, he loves to observe others, to find interesting faces. If Ratcliffe meets people who are interesting for him to shoot, but are going through hard times, he gives them a few dollars (or euros, or yens). The photographer also talks to his "models" about their lives. Ratcliffe claims that he can see the difference between people who are close to their dreams and those who are far from it.
