"We who signed this sexual act...": in Ukraine, they mock the law on sex without consent

A young couple from Nikolaev ridiculed a new amendment to the Ukrainian Criminal Code, according to which responsibility can occur for sex without voluntary consent. The girl posted a photo on the social network in which her boyfriend fills out an "act of penetration into another living person." What is this law and why does it cause unrestrained fun for everyone?

The picture shows some of the items from the "official document", including passport data, identification code, phone number and time of penetration. There are also similar items for filling in the second, signing the act by the party. The girl who posted the photo also noted that the act was drawn up in the presence of three independent witnesses.

Amendments concerning sex without mutual consent entered into force on January 11, 2019. The amendments developed in the Verkhovna Rada back in December 2017 provide for criminal liability for sexual acts committed without mutual voluntary consent. The new law received a special piquancy due to the fact that its effect extends even to married couples.

Perhaps this is how Ukraine is moving to Europe, because such a law already exists in a number of European countries, for example in Sweden. The Scandinavian country also decided to legalize various kinds of sexual relations in 2018, and now hot Swedish guys should think carefully about their actions with young ladies so as not to go to their comfortable European prison for an accidental manifestation of passion.

But the second part was whispered by the Devil to the authors of the amendment. Such a construction as "concomitant circumstances" can be interpreted as you like, which is in no way permissible for the law of a European power. Since the presumption of innocence is prescribed in the Constitution of Ukraine, if one side declares violence, and the second insists on the mutual consent reached, then, in the absence of a witness, you can release the real rapist on all four sides.
