The American, who works for a medical company, told reporters that he went on the trip impulsively. On the third day, he began to regret his action a little, but thanks to the support of his followers, he continued on his way. Jesse planned to complete the marathon in a week, but he didn't calculate his strength a little.
Larios reached his goal in 9 days. As he approached the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, he immediately sang the song My Chemical Romance.
In total, the man walked a little more than 770 kilometers, and never stayed in a hotel. Jesse was resting on the side of the road, and this often confused the local police officers who drove by.
On the GoFundMe crowdfunding platform, Larios was donated 16.8 thousand dollars (more than 1.2 million rubles). He will send all the proceeds to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
Now Larios is trying to make the suit more durable and ventilated. Larios will be heading out on a new journey from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in a few weeks. Then he is going to cover more than four thousand kilometers and make a trip from Los Angeles to New York. The American plans to go for about three months.
