Visiting a good sect

2. I was immediately interested in the golden structures of cyclopean size and incomprehensible purpose.

3. The territory of the complex stretched for more than 3 kilometers and looked very much like an alien base from above

4. Of course, I marked a point on the GPS navigator and decided to visit this unusual place at the first opportunity.

5. So, a week later, after driving north from Bangkok on a regular bus, and then hitchhiking on a truck and at the end in the back of a pickup truck, I was dropped off near the construction site of some giant terminals the size of a large airport.

6. Not seeing anyone around, I went to the glittering golden flying saucer. There was no one there either and I dared to come closer.

7. The body of the flying saucer was covered with hundreds of thousands of figures with the image of Buddha

9. Judging by the size of the terminals under construction, millions of people are planning to gather here.

10. Why and why I could not understand and went to look for a clue in a neighboring complex, a couple of kilometers from the one under construction.

13. When I got to the giant photo, I finally met people.

Mostly monks. They were sitting on the floor and on chairs in large groups. Approximately, there were a couple thousand people in this complex. There was some kind of hypnotic music, a strange voice was saying something in Thai and hundreds of TV screens showed how thousands of Thai people were giving donations to monks.

14. No one paid attention to me in shorts and a big camera. Regretting that I hadn't previously Googled about this place, I stealthily took a couple of photos and started looking for a way out.

15. There were some alien structures everywhere, consisting of hundreds of thousands of Buddha figures.

16. Finally, I found the direction to exit and met people in ordinary consciousness.

17. After looking at less than half, I decided to come back here more prepared and when the construction is over.

P.S. the name of the place is Wat Dhammakaya. As it turned out, all this is managed by a very powerful organization Maha Puja.
