Urgently wanted - unexpectedly guilty!

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/urgently-wanted-unexpectedly-guilty.htmlBack in 2009, art director and artist Mark Mikaelson released the book Least Wanted. In it, he collected more than 10,000 portraits of criminals from the 1870s to the 1970s.
Remembering this book, one of the photographers had an idea. Nick Dolding, from London, decided to recreate some of these shots for his new Wanted portrait series. Nick selected the most memorable photographs from this book and tried to take them in the studio.
For his selection, he focused on the period of the 20s-30s of the XX century. All his portraits came out well, Dolding and his team turned out to be bandits, prostitutes, and little hooligans. To make the photos as realistic as possible, make-up artists and makeup artists worked seriously on the models. As a result, excellent works came out that people who are not familiar with the art of photography will not distinguish from the original hundred years ago.
