"The Abyss of the Disappointed" is a unique and emotional love story from photographer Heather Landis. A photographer from Los Angeles has found unique and creative ways to show intimate details of relationships that are transmitted through movements, gestures and physical contact between a man and a woman. The incredible talent of Landis in demonstrating these details can be seen in her series of underwater photographs, in which viewers can observe a variety of emotions, while almost not seeing the expressions on their faces.

With the help of these photos, Landis takes us on an emotional journey in which we experience the beginning, the turbulent process, and then the end of the relationship of two lovers.
