underwater life toys
Categories: Photo project
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/underwater-life-toys.htmlJules Verne wrote his novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and British photographer Jason Isley created an original version of what the underwater life of people could look like. True, instead of real people, he used toy figures placed on a colorful reef in Borneo and Indonesia. See how the toy people master the underwater depths, communicate with fish and other marine organisms.
(Total 20 photos)
1. A tiny hermit crab has turned into a real monster against the backdrop of these small figures.
2. Toy people are resting next to the sabellida.
3. A team of underwater scientists examines cuttlefish eggs.
4. And now scientists have turned their attention to unusual sea squirts.
5. Janitor in front of a mantis shrimp.
6. Underwater young gardener. Jason says that he glued coins or nails to the base of the figures so that they would not be carried away by the current. And sometimes the fish grabbed the figurines and carried them away in an unknown direction.
7. Revenge of Nemo. A small clown fish looks ominously at an anemone man imprisoned in a glass prison.
8. Once again, a team of brave scientists in special suits is exploring marine mushrooms this time.
9. A toy cop fined a sea slug. Probably for speeding.
10. Worm Invasion! Brave soldiers are ready to defend.
11. Monkfish next to two toy fishermen.
12. Evil mantis shrimp and its next victim.
13. Soldiers save humanity from the blue-ringed octopus. Jason says that it takes him about 50-90 minutes to create one photo, and he completed the entire project in a year.
14. A couple calmly walks along the beach, seemingly unaware that striped eeltails are devouring everything in their path behind them.
15. A couple kisses in a secluded corner under the gaze of a sea slug.
16. A couple admires the starry "sky". Looks like they're not alone.
17. Fishermen caught an anglerfish.
18. Your ticket, please!
19. Workers look with curiosity at an unusual hole in the ground, not even suspecting that its inhabitant is sneaking up from behind.
20. Once again, the safety of all mankind is at stake.
