Naked Parisians

"Mademoiselles" is a large collection of nude girls from the Parisian photographer Natasha Guderman. The pictures show a mix of friends and strangers she met on the streets of Paris. Natasha photographed them in their own houses and apartments, among personal belongings, making each shot unique and intimate. “Being a foreigner in Paris and feeling uprooted, I tried to connect with the people around me by learning and understanding them. So I started taking portraits of Parisian women. I consider my work as a means to approach and better understand these women, who at first seemed to me completely different. Having taken off their clothes, my models seemed to “wrap themselves” in their own soul. And it is this magical moment that I try to capture with my lens.”
