Since dawn, people have been arriving at Mount Arafat, which is considered to be the place where the Prophet Muhammad preached his last sermon about 14 centuries ago. The pilgrims covered a mountain and a huge plain where they prayed and read the Koran. Saudi Arabia provided security during the Hajj, involving more than 100 thousand security personnel.
