He is interested in everything related to aviation. Including what they feed on board: "The other day, when I was checking in for a flight to Novosibirsk, I was surprised to find that now, in addition to Muslim, Hindu and kosher, a Russian menu has appeared.
In fact, it was introduced as early as June 1, but to order it, you need to have access to booking at least 36 hours in advance. In general, I could not pass by this and ordered myself. Let's see what's inside and how Russian it is."
The new menu is available on Aeroflot's own direct flights with flights from Moscow lasting more than three hours.
Who will tell you the decoding of the first two letters, that's a good fellow. RVHB: HB (Half Board) means half board, that is, free two meals a day — breakfast and dinner. Today we have breakfast.
So, we have: millet porridge with pumpkin, pancake with red fish with lettuce leaves and olives, Tula gingerbread, yogurt, jam, bun.
I don't really like the usual onboard food that Aeroflot feeds passengers on regular flights (tomato sauce, brrr...), but this time they managed to surprise me. This porridge was just the height of perfection. Delicious.
But the pancake with fish passed without enthusiasm. Nothing special, just like yogurt.
Instead of salad and not at all Russian olives, I suggest introducing salted cucumbers or young potatoes with dill into the menu.
Depending on the duration of the flight and the class of service, passengers are treated to Tula gingerbread, ice cream or apples baked with cranberries for dessert.
Tula gingerbread was in an opaque package. A pleasant surprise was the imprint of the Aeroflot logo on it. I didn't eat it, I'm taking it home.
Manufacturer and composition of the Tula delicacy.
And here is what was offered to choose from for passengers who did not bother with the choice of special meals. When I was flying, only pancakes with lemon reached the 30th row.
On the Aeroflot website, they write that business class passengers will be able to taste "Assorted Siberian fish" or "Chekhov mushrooms" for a snack in the "Russian" menu, as well as "A tavern slice of sturgeon" with potatoes under mustard sauce or "Smolensk porridge with boiled beef" under the sauce "Port Wine Zhu".
And how do you like this menu?
