And if you have children, then the "Miniature World" in Hamburg should be included in the list of must—visit places in Europe.
Just imagine:
And most importantly, it is not a static model! 40 aircraft and 90 vehicles are in constant motion."

Miniatur Wunderland is one of the main attractions in Hamburg. I already talked about it a few years ago, but the airport was still under construction at that time, so I returned to Hamburg again this year.
The scale of the layout is 1:87, and it is located on an area of 150 sq. m. What is not here…
Of course, there is an Airbus A350, after all, Hamburg is an Airbus city. This is the only aircraft that is not in the airline's livery, there is actually no such board. Each aircraft "takes off" and "lands" on special metal guides, and then moves through the airfield to the terminal or parking lots with the help of special magnets.
Everything is absolutely real! Airfield equipment rushes to each side, even luggage is unloaded.
There are exotic types of aircraft, for example, the Concorde.
Or Ju-52, there is such a board in the fleet of the German Lufthansa. When you fly, be sure to look in the logbook and find the spread where the company's fleet is represented. During the summer months, you can fly this plane in different cities of Europe.
Passengers can also press the buttons mounted in the railing, triggering numerous scenarios of various actions.
The plane arrived and after some time flies away again, freeing up the parking space.
The most interesting time is when day turns into night. Airport life does not stop for a minute, unlike real major airports in Europe, most of which are closed from 23:00 to 6:00 for takeoffs and landings.
There is an active scoreboard that reflects the status of flights that are around in real time. Near the terminal there is a huge Parking lot and a railway station. Naturally, trains are in motion and run between the airport and the neighboring thematic areas of the museum.
Of course, there is a place for humor, which is hidden in many miniature details, you just need to look at them carefully. Here the driver let the sheep off the side of his truck onto the grass.
As I said above, the airport is just one of many facilities. Here you can easily get lost for a few hours, have a great autumn or winter evening. I will definitely show you the latest photos in the next report.
Here's how it looks on a video from a frequent flyer Ilya Shatilin.
