Black gold lies here shallowly, so many small deposits are more like ordinary wells. Most of them are mastered by the national oil company Pertamina. At the moment when production in a particular place becomes unprofitable, the company simply removes the rig and does not particularly worry about filling up the well. This, of course, is used by local residents.
Meet the president of a private oil company.
First, geological exploration and installation works are carried out. Due to the low productivity of the reservoirs, oil enters the well very slowly. On average, accumulation takes about a day, production takes about four hours.
The operator carefully controls the extraction process. As soon as water begins to flow, production stops. The well is transferred to accumulation.
This is a public-private partnership. A national company finds a deposit, develops it, and all that remains goes to ordinary hard workers. Not the worst option, if only without fires.
