The same can be said about this incredibly compact and narrow house in Japan (of course, not the narrowest house in the world, but still unusual). It was designed by the Mizuishi Architectural Bureau and covers an area of 52.24 square meters. The house is located on a narrow triangular base between the river and the road.
From the outside, the house seems miniature, however, looking inside, you will see that it is surprisingly spacious. The triangular house has two floors, with the bedroom on the ground floor and the kitchen and living room on the second. Upstairs there is a small playroom for the whole family, which can be reached by stairs. The walls are painted white, which gives a feeling of even more space and light.
The living area is located below. The windows on both sides are large, which allows daylight to enter the room.
The dining room and kitchen are on the second floor. The room has a high ceiling.
The interior of the house is mostly minimalist, the walls are painted white.
