In this issue you will see photographs taken in 1935 by Norwegian photographer Eirik Sundvor.

Erik Sandvor (1902 - 1992) was a journalist for the Norwegian newspaper Nidaros from 1924-1940 and 1945-1957. Sandvor fled to England with his wife during World War II. In England, he worked in London on the editorial board of the Norwegian government-in-exile newspaper Norsk Tidend. When the newspaper Nidaros went bankrupt in 1957, he returned to Bergen, where he worked as a correspondent for the newspaper Dagbladet.
